Nicole was asleep by 11:00 last night, and I was watching an episode of Farscape on the portable DVD player when midnight rolled around. The only reason I even noticed that was due to the fireworks going off in town, which I barely heard over my earphones. Oh well. Gaming yesterday was fun even though our friends left a bit early. Two of them were flying to Paris this morning and had not yet packed, so I can't blame them. <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/42" rel="nofollow">Tigris & Euphrates</a> was particularly fun. It was my first time playing it and it is definitely one of those games that will get more play, and thought on strategy. Every move has the possibility of, as Jonathan put it, "...fracturing a kingdom like the Balkans." Good fun! So sad.
